Ulju produces half of Korea’s traditional Onggi pottery, yet many pieces were discarded without ever being used. We began by asking how these discarded vessels could find their way back into everyday life. ONGGI is a brand that gives discarded Onggi new life as tableware, reconnecting people, the local community, and the dining table. Rather than creating products for one-time consumption, ONGGI creates a circular journey that brings value back to the community.
